The Department for Environment and Water works in partnership with the SA Country Fire Service (CFS) and other land managers to respond to the threat of bushfires, assess potential impacts and manage recovery. Location intelligence is playing an increasingly important role in these response, assessment and recovery efforts. By leveraging the fundamental geospatial services from Location SA and utilising the Web GIS capabilities of ArcGIS Enterprise, the department is able to capture, share and analyse location based information to support an range of bushfire related activities.
