Everything spatial. In one day.

Adelaide Convention Centre | Friday 19 August 2022

Welcome to the 20th annual Spatial Information Day (SID), and the Asia-Pacific Spatial Excellence Awards of South Australia (APSEA-SA) Dinner. SID is South Australia's premier conference for the geospatial and surveying industry. Join us on Friday 19 August 2022 at the Adelaide Convention Centre to learn the latest applications, theories and techniques being applied in surveying, remote sensing & photogrammetry, building information modelling (BIM) and geographic information systems (GIS).
In addition to the professional development and networking opportunities that are open to all levels of the spatial industry (graduates to executives, students to professors, public and private sector), SID provides a platform for you to learn from local and interstate delegates, speakers and exhibitors.

What people say about us

A remarkable achievement to package up the talent of speakers and presenters for the day and night. I enjoyed both very much and believe my staff got a great deal from it.
Michael Burdett
Former South Australia Surveyor–General
I've attended many geospatial conferences around the world, but South Australia's Spatial Information Day has always impressed me with the quality of speakers and professionals willing to share their knowledge and experiences.
Gary Maguire
Former SSSI President
When Kym Nicholson and I commenced SID in the 1990s we had little idea of the conference’s evolution. In 2016 I see an informative and superbly organised event which connects spatial professionals in SA. The conference is reaching beyond SA to other states and, most importantly, it is building bridges to other professions which utilise spatial information.
Assoc Professor David Bruce
University of South Australia
This was my third year attending this event and I can say it is truly one of the best run events on the calendar. The local SSSI staff and volunteer committee worked tirelessly in the months, weeks and days leading up to the event and I must congratulate them on yet another great year.
Bernard O'Sullivan
Former SSSI President
